A practical field guide for learning a shot, understanding what changes it, and testing it at your own table. Start with a short answer, work through the explanation, then try one controlled set.

Use the lessons alongside practice and coaching. Confirm your game’s rules before play, and compare the diagrams with the table in front of you.

What the pictures mean.

Ideal geometry shows a stated mathematical construction. Illustrative motion uses authored paths to explain a qualitative result. A candidate demonstration still needs a recorded real-table trial before being called reliable.

The three-rail lesson explains the wall-spot procedure on-site and distinguishes it from Corner-5 numbering. Historical and specialist references are available in the research library.

Lessons explain the subject here in original prose. Diagrams and teaching scenes are original constructions. The editorial pool still life and billiards-room creator portrait were generated with built-in ImageGen; they illustrate atmosphere rather than shot physics.

Our science section explains cue contact, cloth, collisions, deflection, and cushions. Its interactive study shows how sliding becomes rolling. Specific studies, specialist methods, and official rulebooks are collected in one research library.
